Leon L. Grogan, age 76 of Douglasville, passed away, November 21, 2011. He was born March 19, 1935 in Lithia Springs to the late Mercer and Phena Reece Grogan. He was a tile setter during his career and a member of the House of Prayer.
In addition to his parents, Mercer and Phena Reece Grogan, he was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors are his wife, Edna Crutchfield Grogan; son and daughter-in-law: Jimmy and Julie Watson of Douglasville, grandson and spouse: Chase and Jennifer Watson; granddaughter: Karie Blackstock; many nieces and nephews and special friend, Kathy Mateychuk.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Minister Frances George officiating. Interment to follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
