Obituary for Boyd Willard Weese

Boyd Willard Weese, age 80, of Lithia Springs, GA, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 as the result of injuries sustained in a tragic house fire that also claimed the life of his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Weese.
He was born March 5, 1937 in Washington, Georgia, son of the late Lewis Garnard Weese and the late Ruby Iona Shaw Weese. Boyd served in the United States Air Force as an Ambulance Medic during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a Border Machinist/Quilt Machine Operator for Simmons Mattress & Bedding. He was a member of Highest Praise Church of God in Mableton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Iona Jones; brothers, Claude Weese, David Weese, and Steve Weese.
Boyd is survived by his children: Karen Renée Weese and Kenneth Ray Hamilton, Robinsville, NC; Kenneth B. Weese, Lithia Springs, GA; Andrew & Carole Weese, Cumming, GA; Robert Lewis & Theresa Jo Weese, Lithia Springs, GA; and Keith Olin & Elaine Weese, Bowdon, GA; grandchildren, Michael & Frankie Jeffords, Matthew & Mindy Jeffords, Mindy & Timon M’Butu, Steven Weese, Andrea Weese, Christopher Weese, Kevin & Gena Weese, Brandon Weese, Erica & Wesley Perrin, Joshua & Bree Weese, Brittany Weese and Virginia Weese; 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brother Marvin Weese, Lavonia, GA.
A Memorial Service will be held for Evelyn and Boyd at Calvary Church of God in Douglasville on Sunday, October 1, at 4:00 PM.
