Obituary for Walter Earl Music

Walter Earl Music, age 82, of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019.  He was born in Douglas County, on December 21, 1936, the son of the late  Joseph Music and the late Margaret Hoddnett Music.  Walter served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict era. He was retired from Tektronix where he worked as a district manager.  He had his pilot’s license, enjoyed fly fishing. Walter was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church.
Walter is survived by his sons: Walter Arthur Music and his wife, Alice from Leesburg, VA and Mark Christopher Music from Douglasville, GA; grandchildren: Sarah Hoffman Music, Christopher Walter Music, Megan Elizabeth Music; companion: Reina McGrath; sister: Rebecca Fishman and her husband, Leonard; 2 nieces and 1 nephew: brother: Jamie Music. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Dolores Loretta Hoffman Music.
The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville on Friday, May 17, 2019, from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated following the visitation and his cremains will be interred with his wife in Portland, Oregon.
