Obituary for James Valentine Post

James Valentine Post, age 40, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away suddenly on June 22, 2019.  He was born in Rockford, Illinois, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Post. He was a Fork Lift Operator for Preferred Freezer Services.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served three tours overseas: two in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He was a Christian.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his father-in-law: John Ross Conner.

James is survived by his wife of 11 years, Stacey Marie Conner Post of Douglasville, GA; daughter, Angel Lisa Marie Wylie of Lincoln, NE; sister: Tinicia Post of Nebraska; mother-in-law: Mary Alice Conner of Douglasville, GA; sister-in-law: Amy Evans and her husband, Solomon of Villa Rica, GA; nephews: Solomon Evans, Jr., Conner Evans, and Matthew Evans; several cousins.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated and a Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Military Funeral Honors.
