Life Legacy
Judy Diane Miller Parks, age 64, of Lithia Springs, passed away September 27, 2011. She was born August 11, 1947 in Carroll County the daughter of Syble Parker Miller and the late Thad L. Miller. She loved to read, cook, sew and watch soaps. She dearly loved her dog Kramer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Douglas Chapel Church of God.
Survivors are her husband, Rickie Parks of Lithia Springs; daughter, Michele Fountain of Austell; mother, Syble Parker Miller of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie & Ike Jackson of Temple and Phyliss and Gary Connally of Douglasville; brother and sisters-in-law, Sheriff Phil and Gloria Miller of Douglasville, Martha Preston of Forest Park and Barbara Wilson of Paulding County; nieces and nephews; Kim Seaton, Josh Miller, Whitney Cole, Matt Connally, Ray and Dawn Preston; great niece, Makenzi Seaton and great nephew, Kevin Miller.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 30, 2011 at 1:00 pm from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Pastor James Massengill officiating. Keith Fountain will deliver the Eulogy.
Burial will follow in the Douglas Chapel Church of God Cemetery in Winston with Brother Jonathan Copeland officiating and with Matt Connally, Josh Miller, David Jordan, Kyle Fountain, Keith Fountain and Steve Stacey, serving as Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
