Life Legacy
Edward Thomas Eskew, age 77, of Douglasville passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011. He was born in Powder Springs, on August 11, 1934 to the late Hugh Eskew and the late Florence McDonald Eskew. He was self-employed and attended Faith Baptist Temple of Austell. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Coral and Matt Garner of Bremen; sister Irene Waits of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Rachel Eskew of Austell; sister-in-law, Evelyn Eskew of Douglasville; grandson, Bentley Garner; nieces and nephews, Jeff Eskew, Jerry Waits, Melinda Whitaker, Gail Moss, Rickey Eskew, Steve Eskew.
In addidion to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Scott Eskew; brother, Paul Eskew; nephew, Terry Waits.
Memorial Services will be held from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 12:00 noon with Reverend Dale Wilson officiating.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 until 8:00pm on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
According to his wishes his body was cremated.
