Helen Larelle Karr Kiser, age 69, passed away, July 26, 2010. She was born December 19, 1940 in Atlanta, GA to the late Hubert Karr and Velma Hendricks Karr. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God, Douglasville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Kiser, sister, Evelyn Karr, brothers: Sonny and Bill Karr and son, Eddie Butler.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law; Diane and Wade Dillard, son, David Butler of Douglasville; sisters: Patricia Shreve of Carrollton, Joyce and Ralph Garvin of McDonough, Aaron Davis also of McDonough and Francis Bagby of Lithonia; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gene and Donna Karr and Jack and Shirley Karr of McDonough; grandchildren: Billy, Lori, Jimmy, Bo and Tabithia; six great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel, Douglasville with Pastor Lee McGarity officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated following the service.
