Cheri Lynn “Echols” Pierce, age 48 of Douglasville, passed away Monday, July 26, 2010. She was born June 21, 1962 in Birmingham, Alabama to John Henry Echols and the late Nancy Lee Hand Echols. She worked as a Douglas County Driver for four years.

In addition to her mother, the son of Sheila Spruell, Daniel Spruell was also preceded in death..

Survivors are her father, John Henry Echols; partner of fourteen years, Sheila Spruell,
the father of her children; Dale Jaro Pierce, Maria Pierce of Decatur, daughter and son-in-law: Celia and Mark Englert of Douglasville, sons and daughters-in-law, Dylan Rhett and Danean Pierce of Douglasville, Samuel and Chrystal Pierce of Villa Rica. Ashley Spruell of Douglasville; Great Aunt and spouse: Doris and Sammy Benson of Decatur; Cousin: Rebecca Benson; grandchildren: Dylan Robert Pierce and Katrina Englert Moore, both of Douglasville; Kaylen June Pierce of Villa Rica and Marc Joseph Englert of Douglasville.

The family will have a gathering at a later date. No services or visitation are scheduled.

In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated.
