Life Legacy
Genevieve E. Beck, age 91, of Douglasville passed away on July 22, 2010.
She was born on October 22, 1918 in Titusville, Florida to the late Fred and
Pearl Everritt. She retired after 37 years of service as a Sears retail catalog
manager. She was a lifelong member of Beta Signa Phi and served as
a Rosie the Riveter repairing airplanes during World War II. She was a member
of the Westview Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son-in-law
Robert W. Hites.
She is survived by her daughter Beatrice Hites; granddaughter Becky Hites;
grandson and spouse Robert and Lydia Hites, Jr.
Interment will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, July 23, 2010, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville, Florida.
