Robert William Hites, age 72, of Douglasville passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010.
He was born on March 14, 1938 in Venago County, PA. to the late Reginald and Nina Sefton Hites. He was a retired Master Sargent from the U.S. Army following 22 years of service. He worked as a service representative for Datascope until his retirement. He was a member of the Westview Baptist Church of Douglasville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, David Hites.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beatrice Beck Hites of Douglasville; daughter, Becky Hites of Englewood Cliffs, NJ; son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. and Lydia Hites, Jr. of Newnan; sister-in-law, Gladys Hites of Rouseville, PA,; 3 nieces and 1 nephew; mother-in-law, Genevieve E. Beck.
Graveside services will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Titusville, Florida on Wednesday,July 21, at 3:00 PM with full military honors.
