Biography

Mr. Henry N. “Hank” Suder, age 90, of Lilburn, Georgia, formerly of Winston, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He was born on February 26, 1920 in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of the late Lon and Eunice McDonald Suder. Mr. Suder was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps. Mr. Suder retired from the Atlanta Police Department with 31 years of service as a Police Officer. He attended Ephesus Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Suder; son, Sam Suder; and brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Lynn and Tom Mosley of McCalla, Alabama, Steve and Kristi Suder of Lilburn and Susan and Steve Gray of Douglasville; grandchildren, Rebecca Suder, Blake Suder, Kyle Suder, Stefanie Suder, Sydney McLean, Vickie Welch, Beau Proctor, Amy Fanning, Kim Cohran and Laura Cohran; great grandchildren, Alyssa Lynn Suder, Jayden Proctor, Hayden Luke Fanning, Brittany Carmichael, Molly Proctor, Jordon Welch, Joshua Welch and Jacob Welch.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 3:00 pm from Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Military Funeral Honors.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Suder to Ephesus Baptist Church, 8437 Ephesus Church Road, Villa Rica, Georgia 30180.
