Doris Pearson
Doris Pearson, age 84, of Douglasville, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born on June 30, 1926 in Pana, Il., to the late Roy F. and Anna Tenbusch Henderson. She was a homemaker and was a member of Bright Star Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Pearson; brother, Roy Henderson, Jr.; sisters, Viola Spraque, Betty Crawford, Roberta Gibson, and Patricia Devriendt.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Dwight Ferguson of Douglasville; daughter, Candace E. Pearson of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law, John and Doris Henderson of Folsom, CA.; grandson and spouse, David and Rebecca Ferguson; special friend, Everett W. Horton.
Memorial services will be conducted from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Dr. Thomas Shores officiating.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday evening, July 5, 2010 from 6 until 8 pm.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Douglas County Humane Society.
In accordance with her wishes the body was cremated.
