Life Legacy
Dorothy Mae Caswell Campbell Bullard, age 82 of Douglasville, passed away, June 23, 2010. She was born April 9, 1928 in Heard County to the late Nathan Harvey Caswell, Sr. and Seba Paschal Caswell. She worked as a seamstress and for over 30 years for the Unitog Sales and Rental Company. She was a very active member of Central Baptist Church, a faithful member of the Amazing Grays, WMU and Lottie Moon. She also cooked many meals for the Church Fellowship Suppers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Charles Bullard and the father of her children, Raymond L. Campbell; brothers: William Amos Caswell, Nathan Harvey Caswell, Jr. and brother-in-law: J. L. Cole.
Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law; Sybil and Carl Culvahouse of Warner Robins, Vickie and David Holland of Collierville, TN, son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Glenda Campbell of Douglasville; sister: Mary Jean Cole of LaGrange, sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Harold Blanton of Atlanta, sister-in-law, Ora Caswell of Conyers; brother and sister-in-law: Albert Glenn and Stella Caswell of Canton; grandchildren: Jeannie Culvahouse, Glenn and Michelle Campbell, Lonny and Erica Campbell, Tammy and Ronnie Johnson, Todd and Penney Carter and David Daniel, Jr. and Seara Holland; great grandchildren: Carl Leary, Cody Glover, Brittani and Jonathan Ward, Sami Carter, Reagan Campbell, Avery Campbell, Shelby Campbell and Grant Campbell.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Gibbs and Rev. Ron Whelan officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens with Glenn Campbell, Lonny Campbell, Dan Holland, Todd Carter, Ronnie Johnson and Bobby Milam serving as Pallbearers. The Sunday School Class of Charlie Holloway, and the ladies of the WMU group of Central Baptist Church will serve as Honorary
Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends, Friday, June 25, 2010 from 6-9PM at the funeral home.
