Life Legacy
Frankie Jewell Vaughan Gaston, age 81 of Douglasville, passed away, April 12, 2010. She was born March 15, 1929 to the late William David Vaughan and Eunice Inez Kimball Vaughan. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church of Winston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Danny Gaston, sister and brother-in-law, Inez Vaughan and J.C. Hallman, brother, Earnest Vaughan and brother-in-law, Thurman Stamps.
Her greatest joy in life was her family; her husband, Larry Kenneth Gaston; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Doug McClure and Son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Reita Gaston, all of Douglasville; sister: Florence Stamps of Winston; brother and sister-in-law: Joel and Pat Vaughan of Winston; grandson and spouse: Andrew and Megan Gaston, granddaughter and fiancé’, Jessica Gaston and Cody Perrien, grandson, Jake McClure and one great granddaughter on the way.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 2:00 pm from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joey Vaughan and Rev. Johnny White officiating. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery, with Dennis Ponder, Gary Gaston, Gene Willis, James Stamps, Randy Vaughan and Travis Camp serving as Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
