Life Legacy


Annie Lee Evans Reece, age 86, of Douglasville, passed away, March 30, 2010. She was born April 5, 1923 to the late Herman Lee and Annie Pearl Simpson Evans. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vergil E. Reece, sons: Lee Reece and Lowell Reece.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Ed Bishop of Duluth, GA; sisters: Ruby Jean Neese, sister and brother-in-law: Mary Frances and Clarance Neese all of Woodstock; brother and sister-in-law: Hoyle and Inez Evans, Arnall and Carrie Evans, all of Woodstock; grandchildren: Morgan Bishop and Graham Bishop.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:30 AM from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel, Douglasville with Rev. Terry Marbut, officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Springs Cemetery in Woodstock.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
