Life Legacy
Elise Florence White, age 31, of Atlanta, passed away suddenly March 9, 2010. She was born on June 15, 1978, in Huntsville, Alabama, the daughter of Mitchell Drew White and Laura Brooksbank White. She was an honor graduate of the University of Georgia achieving a dual degree in both Journalism and Computer Science. She was also a 2010 graduate of Georgia State University's College of Law. She was a volunteer for the Fulton County District Attorney's Office as a Victim's Advocate helping abused women. She was currently employed as a Project Manager with Logical Choice Technologies in Lawrenceville. She was a Buddhist by faith.
Survivors include her parents, Mitch and Laura White of Dallas, GA; sister, Laura Mitchell White of Dallas; brothers and sister-in-law, Eric Michael White of Huntsville and Sean and Charla White of Chicago; dear friend and companion, John Olvey of Marietta; several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 2:00 pm from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Sensei Michael Elliston, the Abbot of the Atlanta Soto Zen Center, officiating.
In accordance with the family's wishes, the body was cremated.
