Biography
Mr. Tommy Lamar Jackson, age 50, of Douglasville, passed away, Saturday, February 27, 2010. He was born on June 19, 1959 in Atlanta, the son of Mae Goodwin Jackson and the late Robert Jackson. He was a Plumber and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Tankersley Jackson of Douglasville; mother, Mae Goodwin Jackson; four children; sister and brother-in-law, Francis and Jay Shortrain of Villa Rica; brothers, James Jackson, Danny Jackson and Doyle Jackson.
Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 4:00 pm from Hightower's Memorial Chapel.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated.
