Life Legacy
Ella Faye Tilley Ellis, 70, of Douglasville, passed away Friday, February 26, 2010. She was born July 20, 1939 in Calhoun County, Alabama to the late James Tilley and the late Martha Payne Tyndall. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and attended Douglasville Church of Christ for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Allen Ellis of Lithia Springs; children and their spouses, Judy Faye and Michael Allen of Hinesville, Frances Stoker of Winston, Gaynell Elizabeth and Floyd Woodard of Winston, Richard Franklin Worrell of Winston, Shannon Wayne and Shenna Blair of Douglasville; Step-children, Allene and Jackie Bell of Winston, Branda and Charles Harris of Villa Rica, Allen and Cristine Ellis of Villa Rica and Juanita Ellis of Lithia Springs; sister Gloria Martin of Lithia Springs; brother and sister-in-law Hubert and Mary Tilley of Winston; 17 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 2:00 pm from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Reverend Bob Pank officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, with Richard Worrell, Floyd Woodard, Shannon Blair, Robert Morris, Paul Schweigart, and Casey Branch serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends today from 9am until 9pm at the funeral home.
