Life Legacy
Minnie Estelle Clouse Bailey, 95, of Lithia Springs passed away at her home, Saturday, February 20, 2010. She was born November 17, 1914 in Tupelo Mississippi to Sarah Anna and James William Clouse.Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker and domestic engineer all her life and was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Foster Bailey; parents, Sarah and James Clouse; son, James Herman Bailey, Sr.; brothers, Hodo Clouse, Jessie Clouse, Frank Clouse, Eli Pirkle, Dustin Pirkle and sister Durcellie Pirkle.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Hoyt and Brenda Bailey of Douglasville; daughter, Frances Bailey of Smithville, TN.; daughters and sons-in-law, Minnie Lou and Ed Roberson of Villa Rica, Martha Louise and Jim Bock of Anderson, CA., 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, February 23, 2010 at 2:00PM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Minister Larry Argo officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 9:00 pm on Monday, February 22, 2010.
