Life Legacy
Mary Ann Cottrell, age 66, of Douglasville, passed away, Thursday, February 18, 2010. She was born January 14, 1944 in Paola, Kansas to the late Enno and Flossie Ments of Paola, Kansas. During her career she worked for two law firms in Kansas and Florida, and nine years with the Douglas County Retardation Association. She retired in 2008 after twenty five years with Segnode Packaging Systems in Atlanta and Austell.
Survivors are her husband, Edward Osburn Pearson and son, Todd Cottrell, both of Douglasville, many Pearson in-laws in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina, who provided Mary Ann with the large family she longed for, but did not have.
Memorial Services will be held Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
In accordance with her wishes, her body was cremated.
