John Brian Gordon, age 37, of Paulding County, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010. He was born January 24, 1973 in Cobb County, the son of John Randolph and Beverly Sue Cochran Gordon.
He is survived by his parents, John Randoph and Beverly Sue Gordon of Wedowee, Alabama; son, Brian Scott Gordon of Wedowee, Alabama; sister and brother-in-law; Elizabeth and Chad Whiteside of Douglasville; maternal grandparents, Margaret and Luther Cochran of Douglasville; paternal grandmother, Jo Ellen Gordan; aunts and uncles, Debbie and Mike Roberts of Acworth, Rick and Michelle Gordon of Bellingham, Washington,and Johnny and Barbara Cochran of Douglasville.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1:00 pm from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Pastor Johnny Hightower and Pastor Shannon Mapp officiating. Interment will follow in Mozley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 2:00 until 8:00 pm.
