Biography

James Ward "Pedro" Smith, age 31, of Douglasville, passed away January 28, 2010. He was born on November 27, 1978 in Walker County, Georgia the son of Howard Wesley Smith and Donna Lynn Goodwin Smith. He worked for H R Kenemore Construction Company and was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors are: his father, Howard Wesley Smith, mother, Donna Lynn Goodwin Smith; sons: Ethan Jared Smith of Cartersville and Cody J. Smith of Temple; maternal grandparents: James Goodwin of Chicamauga and Frances Smith of Texas; brothers: Bo Smith of Cartersville and Chris Smith of Douglasville; nephew, Jonathan Smith of Douglasville; best friends: James Honeycutt and Dirk Jenkins, both of Douglasville.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 6:00PM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Mr. David Barrett officiating.

The family will receive friends, Monday, February 1, 2010 from 4:00PM until the service hour of 6:00PM.

In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated.
