Life Legacy
Lucille Kathleen Honeycutt, age 80, of Peachtree City, GA, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010. She was born July 19, 1929 in Hendersonville, NC to the late Dock Gilbert Beck and Carrie Thames Beck. She was a homemaker and loved making beaded jewelry, enjoyed fishing, and growing vegetables and flowers in her gardens. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in Peachtree City.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Reginald Boyce Ledbetter, daughter, Cindy Montgomery, son, Curtis Ledbetter, sisters; Mildred Womack and Beatrice Barnett; brothers; Clarence, Charles, James, Willard and Leonard Beck.
Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law; Robbie and Richard Crawford of
Newnan, Galyn and Scott Lewis of Ivins, UT; sisters: Alma Gray and Jewell Brewer, both of Marietta; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gilbert and Catherine Beck of Villa Rica, Dewey and Becky Beck, Darrell and Sheila Beck, Michael and Rosemary Beck, all of Cartersville; grandchildren; Dale Brown, Jeremy Brown, Jared Lewis, Tyler Montgomery, Tara Kearl, Mandy Woodhouse and Cory Montgomery; six great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Grace Beck of Douglasville, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 12:00pm from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Dale Brown officiating and Ms. Lois Blackston rendering the music. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Richard Crawford, Jeremy Brown, Scott Lewis, Mike Traylor, Robert Gibbs and Wayne Beck serving as Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 10:00AM until the funeral hours of 12:00 Noon.
