Arlene ‘Brenda’ Hogan Towers, passed away, Sunday, December 13, 2009 in Fulton County. She was born March 14, 1963 in Arcola, MS to Elnora B. Reeves Hogan and the late Charles Hogan, Sr.. She worked for four years as custodian for the Douglas County Board of Education. She was of the Jehovah’s Witness faith.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruthie Hogan; brother, Willie Hogan.

Survivors are her husband, Kent Towers of Douglasville; mother, Elnora B. Reeves Hogan of Niles, Michigan; children, Olivia Towers and Giovanni Gladden both of Douglasville; Michael Gladden of Villa Rica; mother-in-law, Lucille Van Putten of Las Vegas; sisters, Ernestine Felton and Michelle Myers, both of Niles, Michigan, Lula Bell Hernandez, Olivia Hogan and Stella Jackson, all of Chicago; brothers, Bob Hogan of Niles, Michigan and Charles Hogan, Jr.; two grandchildren, Treyvon Michael Gladden and Ariel Nicole Rhymer, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 2:00 pm from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
