Life Legacy
Peggy McGarity Rice, age 54, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012. She was born in Austell, Georgia on January 7, 1958 to the late Gus Edward McGarity and the late Maybell Key McGarity.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cleveland Rice.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Douglas Riemer of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tiffany Rice or Winston; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Warren Fletcher of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Marie McGarity of Carrollton; grandchildren, Tristen Riemer, Brennon Rice and Joshua Rice.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Minister Tony Hughes officiating. Douglas Riemer, Eric Albright, Willie Vandevander, Scott Youngblood, Mike Mize, and Chris Nipper will be serving as Pall Bearers. Interment will follow in Rosehaven Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 11:00 until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
