Obituary for William Hiscock III

Mr. William Hiscock, III, age 55, of Whitesburg, Georgia, passed away suddenly Sunday, August 6, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident that also claimed the life of his wife, Virginia Morse Hiscock.
William was born on May 2, 1962 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the son of the late William Hiscock, II and the late Cora Bell Joyce Hiscock. He graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and received his Associates Degree in Business Marketing from Middlesex Community College in Bedford, Massachusetts. He worked in telecommunications and as a Plater for Cambridge Plating Company in Belmont, Massachusetts. William resided in Belmont, Massachusetts until moving to Georgia in 2006. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Douglasville.
William was family-oriented and a true friend to those who were fortunate to get to call him “Friend”. He never met a stranger and you knew where you stood with him at all times.

William loved his family and held a special bond with his only child, Amanda. William was a loving Father and supportive of all of Amanda’s endeavors. Though the love he had for his daughter ran deep the love he had for his granddaughter, Elizabeth, was extraordinary. William and Virginia lived for their moments spent with Elizabeth as did she. Both William and Virginia were pivotal influences in Elizabeth’s life. The loss of Elizabeth’s “Gampa” and “Gamma” will greatly impact her for the remainder of her life.
In addition to William’s parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Ribeiro.

William is survived by his daughter: Amanda Brown of Carrollton, Georgia; granddaughter: Elizabeth Grace Brown of Carrollton, Georgia; his sisters and brother-in-law: Kathleen Ramsey of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts and Patricia and Robert Nelson of Pembroke, Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews.

The families will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.

The Funeral Service for William and Virginia will be conducted Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville, Georgia with Pastor Steve McFall and Reverend Larry Tucker officiating.
