Obituary for Tara Claudine Clark

Tara Claudine Clark, age 46 of Douglasville, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.  She was born in Cedartown, GA on December 4, 1971 to David Clark and Betty Jo Leatherwood Clark.  Tara loved her family with a passion and loved the Special Olympics.  She was very athletic and played basketball, baseball, bocce, and loved to go bowling and swimming.  She attended Central Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Shani Robinson and husband Anthony; brother, Monte Owens; uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and her Big Sister Home Support family, Twyla Holbrook and Marteah Townsend.The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.A funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Steve McFall and Rev. Randall Moore officiating.  Interment will follow in Brannon-Perryman Cemetery in Buchanan, GA.
