Obituary for Robert "Coochie" Jacobs

Robert Owen “Coochie” Jacobs, age 59, of Douglasville, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018. He was born on September 16, 1958 in Austell, Georgia, son of the late William Tommie Jacobs, II and the late JoAnn Sanders Jacobs. Coochie loved roller skating, drag racing and driving dump trucks. He was very sociable and loved his friends. He was a 1976 graduate of Lithia Springs High School and was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his sisters; Jody & Doug Gilliland, Rockmart; Judy & Tim Couch, Douglasville; brother, William Tommy “Bubby” & Kim Jacobs, Albertville, Alabama; half-sister Sherry Boykin, Jasper, Texas; two nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 PM until the service hour of 4:00 PM.
Per his family’s wishes, he was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Mr. Greg Richardson officiating and Ms. Judy Couch delivering the eulogy.
