Obituary for Margaret Lucille Pike

Margaret Lucille Pike, age 88 of Douglasville, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018.  She was born in Millerville, Alabama on December 6, 1929, daughter of the late Monroe D. Deason and the late Nicie Bennan Harris.  Margaret worked as a seamstress for Cluett-Peabody (Arrow Shirt) for 25 years and was Baptist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Pike; brother, Albert Deason, and grandson, John Corley.
She is survived by her children; Pat & Jimmy Pittman of Douglasville, and Martha Walker of Lithia Springs; grandchildren, Rick Hamilton and his wife, Cecelia, Julie Edwards and Joey Walker; great-grandchildren; Connie Hamilton, Emily Powless, Erin Edwards, and Grace Corley; great great-grandchildren, MaKenna Howard, Blakeley Powless, Brookley Powless, Izzy Powless, and “one on the way.”
The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 8, from 11:00AM until 2:00PM.
A Graveside Service will follow at College Park Cemetery at 3:00PM with Rev. Bryan Alexander officiating.
