Obituary for Kermit Ray Harper

Kermit Ray Harper, age 58, of Douglasville, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017. He was born on January 6, 1959 in Charleston, West Virginia, son of the late Carl Junior Harper and Mary Elizabeth Shaffer. Kermit was self-employed and he loved to build hot rods. He was Methodist by faith.
Kermit is survived by his wife of 24 years, Mary Mitchell Harper: sisters; Norma Hundley and husband, Richard; Donna Monk and husband, Larry; Dottie Douglas; brothers; Richard Harper and Leonard Shaffer; four grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 13, from the Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 12, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
