Obituary for James Larry Ledbetter

James Larry Ledbetter, age 68, of Temple, Georgia formerly of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. He was born in Douglasville, Georgia on July 9, 1949. Larry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was a retired technician with the Coweta County Water department.
He is survived by his sons: Michael Ledbetter and Noah Ledbetter; granddaughter: Allie Spain and her husband, Justin; grandson: Parker Ledbetter; great-grandsons: Jack Spain and Wyatt Spain; mother: Allie Lee Cochran Rice; sister: Carolyn DeLoach and her husband, Larry; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: Oliver Dewitt Ledbetter; Step Father, Robert (Bob) D. Rice; brother: Dewey Earl Ledbetter.
The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
A funeral will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Pastor James Green and Pastor Larry Lowry officiating. Interment to follow at Douglasville City Cemetery with military honors. Serving as Pall Bearers,Jonathon Wright, Dusty Brehmer, Brandon Brehmer, Randy Brehmer, Michael Flores and Justin Spain.
