Obituary for Brenda Dean Davis

Brenda Dean Sales Davis, born August 31, 1942, joined her Lord and Savior August 21, 2017.

Brenda was a proud East Tennessee girl who was preceded in death by her mother Marjorie Clonts and father Frank Sales.

Brenda is survived by her son: Randy Davis of Miami, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Davis-DuCharme and husband, Matthew DuCharme of Winston, Georgia; sister: Linda Tuck of Cape Canaveral, Florida; brother: Joseph Sales of Lenoir, Tennessee; grandchildren: Davis Chastain “Chase” DuCharme, Matthew Broc DuCharme, and Adriana Jolee DuCharme all of Winston Georgia. Brenda was also "Nother Mother" to Fran Hughes, Pamela's best friend.

Brenda was a self-employed Artist and very active in the art community of Oak Ridge, Tennessee before she moved to Georgia. Brenda had her art displayed in numerous exhibits including the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She loved to paint modern art in mixed media, for which she was well known. In her later years, she began to paint portraits of her family and friends and vivid floral paintings about the beauty of God's flowers. Brenda will be best remembered for her love and passion for God. Brenda had a prayer network, and computer ministry where she dedicated her life to prayer and reaching people all over the world through her prayer ministry. Her compassion for God's broken and hard-to-reach people drove her to pray and study God's Word. Her delivery of messages of encouragement was tireless. Brenda touched many people. She was the person to turn to when you felt like giving up, or were broken to the point of no return. She would take you into her home and heart, wrap her tiny arms around you, and tell you that you were valuable and worthy of God's love, and you knew that it was true. That was Brenda.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated and her memorial service will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cultural Arts Center, 8652 Campbellton Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134.
