Obituary for Benita "Bonnie" June Land Bolson

Benita “Bonnie” June Land Bolson, age 65, of Douglasville, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was born on May 22, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Harry Prentiss Land, Sr. and the late Loyce Alice Bright Land. She was a 1970 graduate of Douglas County High School and was a former Dental Assistant. She was a member of Lithia Springs First Baptist Church where she and her husband, David, were nursery workers for many years.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Carl David Bolson, Jr. of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law: Harry and Regena Land of Winston; sisters and brothers-in-law: Linda and Ben Norman of Tignall, GA, and Rebecca and Johnny Pilgrim of Valdosta, GA; mother-in-law: Agnes Bolson Crews of Douglasville; sister-in-law: Nancy Matthews and her husband, Danny, of Douglasville; brother-in-law: Richard Bolson of Falls Church, VA; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 3:00-6:00 P.M.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
