Obituary for Alan D. Mayo

Alan D. Mayo, age 56, of Winston, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. He was born December 5, 1960 in Marshall, Michigan. Alan loved his family, friends, and he especially loved his grandchildren. He loved cooking and grilling for family and friends, music, riding his Harley and his favorite dog, Roxy. Alan was loved by all who knew him.  He was a Truck Driver for Sand & Stone in Douglasville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milo "Mike" Mayo; mother-in-law, Joanne Fields; and his brother-in-law Jerry Kelley.
Alan is survived by his wife, Tonya Mayo; son, Ryan Mayo and wife Christi; daughter, Beth Holman and husband Jeremy; grandchildren, Bryson Holman, Kyler Holman, Sylas Holman, Ryleigh Mayo, and Caitlyn Mayo; mother, Joanne McClintic Johnson; sister, Kelli Stapleton and husband Matt; brothers, Randy Wendland and wife Kris, Matt Johnson; and sister, Michelle Mayo Forry; father-in-law, Thurman Fields; sister-in-law, Teresa Fields Kelley; brother-in-law, Scott Fields and wife Debra; several nieces and nephews,
Per his wishes he was cremated. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Mike Mallory officiating.
